Priority given to candidates with memory care experience.About Our CommunityWe’re a freestanding memory care assisted living community with 40 residents, conveniently located off the Lake Hefner Parkway on 178th between Penn and May in West Edmond. Intimate enough that every team member truly knows every resident. All of our residents live with Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia, and as an age-in-place community, you’ll care for residents across the full spectrum of the disease. Smaller team, bigger impact.What You’ll DoYou’ll provide hands-on, compassionate care that helps our residents live with dignity, comfort, and joy every single day.Administer medications accurately and in accordance with physician orders and community protocolsAssist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including personal care, dining, and mobilitySupport residents with life enrichment activities and social-recreational programmingPerform light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a clean, comfortable, home-like environmentMonitor and document vital signs and monthly weightsOffer emotional and physical comfort and support to residents and familiesUphold each resident’s dignity, privacy, independence, and individuality at all timesWhat We’re Looking ForActive listing on the Oklahoma Nurse Aide Registry (required)Current Certified Medication Aide certification (required)High school diploma or GED requiredMinimum one year of experience working with older adults preferredExperience in memory care or with dementia residents strongly preferredAt least 18 years of ageGenuine warmth, patience, and compassion for those living with memory lossReliable work history — consistency matters deeply to our residentsAbility to meet continuing education and certification requirements for your positionWhy Iris Memory Care?Our residents deserve more than a caregiver — they deserve someone who shows up with heart.
