Job Title: Assembly/Machine Builder

Location: Waterloo, Iowa

Salary: $24-29/hour

  Job Summary of the Assembly/Machine Builder: The Assembly/Machine Builder will be responsible for b uilding custom, made-to-order machines per drawing specifications. Must possess a strong mechanical aptitude with experience in building or mechanical repair of industrial/heavy equipment. Be able to work from prints, sketches, or verbal instructions. A strong attention to detail is required. To be safe in all operations of the job. To keep the work area clean and organized. This is a low-volume work environment where you will build a machine from start to finish. This is a first shift position, and pay is commensurate with experience. Subject to a drug screening and background check.

  Job Duties & Responsibilities of the Assembly/Machine Builder:

· Must have a High School Degree

·1+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment or mechanical work experience.

· High mechanical aptitude.

· Any experience working on cars or any type of mechanic background is a plus.

· Ability to read blueprints.

· An understanding of hydraulic components and functionality.

· A basic understanding of 12V wiring.

· Ability to use wrenches, air tools, overhead cranes, steel handling and frequent lifting required.

· Forklift experience or ability to train on operation of.

· Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly and up to 75 pounds.

· Ability to stand / or be on your feet all day.

· Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
