Houseperson Banquet

Job Description

Relationships:

• Reports directly to the Banquet Floor Manager.
• Interacts and cooperates with other employees of the Food & Beverage department as required.
• Interacts with guests as appropriate.
• Interacts and cooperates with other departments as required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Sets up function rooms with the necessary equipment according to the Banquet Event Orders.
2. Provides ice water & glasses & refreshes as needed.
3. Sweeps & vacuums function rooms, removing debris.
4. Pick up & deliver all boxes & meeting materials.
5. Delivers boxes to business center for shipping out.
6. Ensures rooms are clean & presentable when not in use.
7. Maintains wastebaskets at registration desks & inside meeting rooms.
8. Sets up meetings with pads, pencils, coasters, etc. as per BEO.
9. Adheres to Hotel's grooming policy.
10. Maintains a cooperative, professional working style with supervisors & fellow workers.
11. Performs all tasks with utmost concern for safety for self & fellow workers.
12. Complies with all guest requests.
13. Attends meetings and hotel training sessions as required by hotel management.

Needed Skills :

Fast learner, ability to read & speak English, ability to lift at least 100 lb.

The salary range for this role is $26.45 to $28.65 This is the lowest to highest pay scale we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors, including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.
