Job Summary Career Team is a leading workforce development organization committed to transforming lives. We are looking for a Career Advisor to provide career counseling, intensive case management, and follow‑up services to registered customers within the One‑Stop system. The Advisor will work under the supervision of the Career Services Manager and deliver a full range of client services from intake to training placement. Responsibilities Perform professional case management services for registered customers. Complete intake and eligibility determination for the workforce program. Assess employment and training needs through interviewing, testing, and other methods. Enter and process client data in the participant information system and other databases. Guide jobseekers in preparing individual employment plans (IEPs) based on their goals. Counsel clients on available job opportunities, training programs, and other services. Complete Individual Training Account (ITA) vouchers and related documentation. Refer and track eligible customers into contracted programs and ensure follow‑up. Conduct orientation sessions, workshops, job clubs, and group presentations. Maintain accurate case files with original or copy eligibility documentation in compliance with regulations. Develop comprehensive Individual Employment Plans for all customers. Meet or exceed program benchmarks and complete required reports. Participate in staff events, training, meetings, and individual supervision. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, behavioral science, or related field. At least two years of experience in training, counseling, case management, or related services. Substantial case management experience and ability to interpret policies and procedures. Strong cultural sensitivity and ability to work with a diverse client base. Excellent interpersonal, time‑management, customer‑service, organizational, and communication skills. Computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet applications. Valid driver’s license. Ability to meet or exceed set goals and objectives. Salary & Benefits Full‑time position, $40,000 per year. Competitive benefits package including healthcare, dental, and personal/vacation time.
