Job Family: Strategy & Transformation Consulting Travel Required: Up to 10% Clearance Required: Ability to Obtain Public Trust What You Will Do Guidehouse is seeking a Managing Consultant to join our Defense and Security Segment, where they will lead workforce transformation efforts for the Department of Homeland Security Office of the Chief Human Capital Officer organization. The Managing Consultant will lead a team in the development of strategic human capital and workforce transformation efforts including revised hiring, retention, performance management, and workforce development processes among other functions. Leading teams in the development of strategic human capital and workforce transformation efforts and accompanying implementations plans Leading and directing teams in stakeholder analyses, including segmenting and developing stakeholder personas and journey maps Conducting current state assessments, formulating recommendations, and creating robust implementation plans Leading and directing teams in the analysis if human capital related data and gleaning critical insights Developing metrics for evaluating the effectiveness of strategic human capital transformation efforts Preparing for and leading internal and external stakeholder discussions, client meetings, and leadership briefings Providing direction and technical assistance to a team of at least 5 in the areas of problem definition, analysis, requirements development, and implementation for complex solutions Managing multiple concurrent assignments while directing the work of a team and ensuring technical accuracy, adherence to standards, and timely delivery of all products Preparing a wide range of briefing materials and concise summaries of assessments, evaluations, and plans communicate program status and progress to senior leaders What You Will Need Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred. Bachelor’s degree SEVEN (7) or more years of experience leading strategic human capital transformation and implementation solutions and directing the work of a team, with FIVE (5) or more years of management consulting experience in human capital What Would Be Nice To Have Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications Experience consulting for the DHS Excellent communication skills across all levels of business, both written and verbal Ability to adapt quickly and develop successful professional relationships Experience working in DHS Salary The annual salary range for this position is $113,000.00-$188,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
