We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Designer II to design and coordinate building mechanical systems, prepare construction drawings, and support project delivery from concept through construction. The ideal candidate combines technical proficiency with critical thinking and collaboration skills to develop efficient, constructible, and code-compliant solutions. Key Responsibilities Assist engineers and other designers in developing building mechanical system designs. Design and produce construction drawings for HVAC systems, including ductwork, hydronic piping, equipment, controls, and associated systems. Perform system sizing and design calculations under the direction of the Engineer/Designer of Record. Develop detailed construction plans and schematics using Revit. Apply applicable mechanical codes, ASHRAE standards, NFPA standards, and project requirements. Perform field investigations and construction site visits. Coordinate designs with other disciplines. Review product data submittals and support other construction-period services. Research technical solutions and equipment selections to support design decisions. Salary: $75,000-$95,000 Healthcare Experience is preferred Computer Skills: Revit, AutoCAD MEP, MS Office Suite, TRACE, or similar load-calculation software Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in engineering; or, Experience: Minimum four years of progressive mechanical design experience. Licenses/Certifications: Passed Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (FE) and working toward professional licensure (PE) preferred.
