Summary


A private household (senior couple) in Vermont is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Live-in House Manager to maintain a high standard of cleanliness, organization, and overall household presentation. This is a unique opportunity to work in a well-managed residence with a principal in occupancy approximately three months per year, offering a balanced and structured work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive housekeeping duties including daily cleaning, deep cleaning, and seasonal upkeep.
• Maintain impeccable standards across all living areas, guest spaces, and service areas.
• Laundry and wardrobe care, including delicate fabrics and garment organization.
• Inventory management of household supplies and linens.
• Ensure the residence remains fully prepared for the principal's arrival at all times.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers as required.
• Assist with light meal preparation or kitchen support when needed.
• Support occasional hosting and guest readiness.
• Be available for occasional international travel, if needed.

Experience & Qualifications

• Proven experience in private households, luxury hospitality, or similar environments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
• Ability to work independently and proactively in a quieter household setting.
• Highly organized, trustworthy, and discreet.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing needs and schedules.
• Maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have (or able to get) a passport and ability to travel internationally.
