Contract | Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts | Variable Start Times (7:00, 9:00, 10:00, or 11:00) | Includes Call Shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgical procedures in the PACU setting
• Assist with pre-admission phone calls for surgical patients as needed
• Float to affiliated facilities within the region as required
• Utilize Epic electronic health records system for accurate and timely documentation
• Participate in call shifts as part of the variable schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active, valid California Registered Nurse license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum of 1–2 years of PACU experience required
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Willingness to float within the hospital and to nearby affiliate facilities
• Ability to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year
• Two professional references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a PACU or perioperative setting
• Familiarity with pre-admission surgical screening processes
• Experience working across multiple facilities or healthcare systems
