Registered Nurse - NICU

Job Summary:
Seeking a compassionate and experienced Travel RN for the NICU unit at HCA HealthONE Rose. This role involves providing skilled neonatal critical care to high-risk infants in a fast-paced, technologically advanced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer specialized neonatal nursing care to critically ill infants, including procedures such as intubations, chest tubes, and arterial blood draws.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient status continuously, utilizing advanced equipment like oscillators, vents, and bubble CPAP.
• Document patient information accurately in Meditech EMR and communicate effectively during handoffs.
• Support delivery of high-quality care in a Level III NICU setting, prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
• Maintain compliance with unit policies, infection control protocols, and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 1-year current acute care hospital NICU RN experience.
• Hold active BLS and NRP certifications.
• Have Level III or Level IV NICU experience, with proficiency in Meditech (preferred).
• Demonstrate the ability to perform critical procedures such as PIVs, medication administration, and blood draws.
• Be friendly, approachable, and capable of effective communication with staff and families.
• Prefer candidates with PICU experience and PALS certification.
