Utilizing the latest advancements in eye care technology, This position is for a full time Optometrist at Benson Eye Center supports its patients through a wide range of services, from routine eye exams to advanced treatments for ocular conditions. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Optometrist role at Benson Eye Center, located in Klamath Falls, OR. The Optometrist will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing and managing ocular diseases and prescribing corrective lenses. Additional responsibilities include educating patients on eye health, collaborating with a team of eye care professionals, and keeping up with the latest advancements in optometry practices to deliver exceptional patient care. The salary offered is commensurate with experience and will include full benefits: medical, dental, vision, PTO and 401k with match and profit-sharing plan, and a production bonus once you have reached a certain threshold. Qualifications Proficient skills in conducting routine eye examinations, diagnosing ocular diseases, and providing treatment plans. Strong knowledge of vision correction techniques, including prescribing corrective lenses and managing contact lens fittings. Experience in providing patient education on preventive care, eye health, and post-treatment guidance. Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive eye care solutions. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with patients and colleagues. Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry program is required. Active optometry license in the state of Oregon or eligibility to obtain licensure. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and modern diagnostic equipment.
