COMPANY INFORMATION:

Western States Oil is a petroleum products distributor in the greater San Francisco Bay Area. Family owned and operated since 1956.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

WSO is seeking an aggressive, proven, local, B2B Field Sales “Hunter”, to join our team. The selected candidate will work collaboratively with our Director of sales and product vendors, to sell lubricant products, Fuel, and our fuel card program to local fleets as well as offer renewable diesel into area businesses, which operate company vehicles, have fuel tanks, are working on lowering emissions, have sustainability goals, and overall have fueling needs.

 

The territory includes (but not limited to) Santa Rosa, Novato, Sonoma, Petaluma, Napa, Sausalito, Cotati (and surrounding area). To take over and manage an existing book of business and grow it.

 

Industrial or heavy duty experience is a plus, but not mandatory. Must be tenacious and driven for success!

 

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

· Minimum (2) years of verifiable success in B2B sales

· Experience selling B2B in a high activity sales environment

· Knowledge in the oil/lube industry is a plus

· Trucking/Automotive understanding is a plus

· Basic level Excel, Word

· Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written

· Strong sense of urgency and a roll-up-the-sleeves demeanor

· Flexible, adaptable, team oriented with positive attitude and strong work ethic

 

COMPENSATION:

Moderate Base Salary plus aggressive commission.
