Job Title: Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift M - F Hours per Shift: Guaranteed Hours not specified Experience: Minimum of 1 year nursing experience preferred License: Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, renewed every two years Must-Have: - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing - Knowledge of practical nursing principles and skills needed to provide quality patient care - Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions - Ability to communicate clearly and effectively - Ability to react calmly and effectively during emergency situations - Ability to identify and analyze problems, prioritize, and make confident quick decisions Description: Provide professional nursing care to patients following established standards, practices, and healthcare techniques. Demonstrate competence in making professional judgments pertaining to patient care. Assist providers in patient care and education. Actively participate as a member of the healthcare team to engage patients, families, and caregivers in the coordination of patient care. Knowledge of examination, diagnostic and treatment procedures, medication effects on patients, and patient education principles. Basic knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding guidelines. Must have the ability to administer a variety of medications and treatments and utilize various types of equipment for examination and treatment procedures.
