You may be required to be on-call to address urgent mental health situations as they arise.

- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans in collaboration with students, aimed at addressing specific mental health issues and promoting positive emotional development. \n
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-focused therapy, to effectively address a broad range of mental health challenges. \n
- Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on enhancing coping strategies, emotional regulation, and personal growth. \n
- Work in partnership with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and psychiatric nurse practitioners, to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to student care. \n
- Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, employing de-escalation techniques and making referrals for higher-level care when necessary. \n
- Engage in psychoeducation sessions with students and their families, empowering them with knowledge about mental health conditions and available community resources. \n
- Maintain meticulous and up-to-date documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports, adhering to all legal and ethical standards. \n
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing staff development to foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. \n
- Stay informed of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines affecting mental health practice in educational settings. \n
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in this position, you will support a wide range of student mental health needs, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, and interpersonal challenges.
