Texas Health Clearfork is considered a Tower of Texas Health Southwest, which has been serving Tarrant County residents since 1987, has 1,100 employees, 120 volunteers, and more than 600 physicians on its medical staff. The hospital is Magnet facility designated hospital by American Nurses Credentialing Center, a designated UnitedHealth Premium Surgical Spine specialty center and has earned Quality Respiratory Care Recognition from the AARC. What You Will Do:

• Restocks warmer with blankets and saline
• Changes sharps containers
• Stocks linen, and bags for trash and linen, as well as red bags
• Stocks Expose II
• Ensures two arm boards and safety strap available for case
• Stocks and replaces suction liners
• Stocks sterile towels in cores
• Stocks masks and OR room gels and sanitizers
• Empties soiled linen carts to linen chute
• Assists in moving patients to and from the operating room suites.

Qualifications:

• Education: H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Req
• Experience: previous patient care experience Pref
• Licenses and Certifications: BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req
• Skills: Read, write and speak English; Able to stand/walk for majority of hours of their work shift; Easily move heavy equipment & supplies (up to 250 lbs on wheels) without endangering themselves or others.
