Travel RN – Emergency Department (Nights)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care through the therapeutic application of the nursing process, collaborating with interdisciplinary health care team members across a designated patient group
• Assess and interpret patient data to identify age-specific needs, applying principles of growth and development across the life span
• Function in the role of primary RN across Triage, Main ED, and Fast Track areas
• Maintain high standards of care and patient safety at all times, including when floated to other hospital units as directed by hospital leadership or the House Supervisor
• Follow the guidance of the Charge Nurse in any assigned department when serving as a float resource

Required Qualifications

• Current New Mexico or multi-state Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification (AHA)
• ACLS certification (AHA)
• PALS certification (AHA)
• TNCC certification
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Emergency department and/or critical care nursing experience
• At least one year of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
