Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM, 3 shifts per week, 36 scheduled hours.

Start Date: 07/13/2026, End Date: 10/12/2026, Duration: 13 weeks.

Location: St. David’s South Austin Medical Center, South Austin, TX 78704.

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 48 private rooms, 27 hallway stretchers, 9 Fast track, 5 behavioral health
• Number of Staff: 111
• Type of Staff: Day Shift Charge +11, additional mid-shifts (9a,11a,1p,3p). 2 PCTs, 1 Paramedic, 1 LVN
• Night Shift: Same as above
• Patient Ratios: 1:4 ED, 1:5 BH, 1:3 cardiac/trauma
• Type of Equipment: Alaris pumps, Belmont and Level 1 Rapid infusers, Stryker stretchers

EMR: MEDITECH

Permanent Positions on Unit? Yes

Typical Hiring Profile:

• Skill Set: Must have ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS. Preferred: Meditech experience, Trauma experience, Holding inpatient experience, CPI.
• List Typical Procedures Performed: Splinting, EKGs, central monitoring, trauma assists, central lines, airway support, behavioral health de-escalation, morganlens, rapid infuser, resuscitation.
• Best Personality Fit: Multitasker, Team player, Self-starter

Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs for RNs.
