Role Overview Operating directly out of the Charlotte, NC office, the Retirement & Savings Programs Specialist will lead US retirement plan administration, equity compensation management, and regulatory compliance. This in-office role serves as the internal subject matter expert across HR, Payroll, Finance, and Legal, ensuring seamlessly executed savings programs and optimal vendor governance.

Key Qualifications

• Experience: 3–5 years of dedicated experience administering US benefits, retirement programs, and stock plan equity compensation (taxation and payroll reporting).

• Software Proficiency: 2–3 years of hands-on experience using enterprise software such as ADP, SAP, or SuccessFactors.

• Regulatory Knowledge: Deep working understanding of pension legislation, IRS tax compliance, ERISA, and annual regulatory filing requirements.

• Work Style: High attention to detail, analytical capability, sound judgment when handling confidential data, and a track record of driving cross-functional process improvements.

• Education: College or university degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Compensation & Total Rewards

• Base Pay: $85,000 – $95,000 per year (commensurate with background and experience).

• Incentives: Eligible for annual discretionary Short-Term Incentive Plan (STIP).

Responsibilities

• Employee Share Purchase Plan (ESPP) & Equity: Oversee the implementation, rollout, and routine administration of the ESPP. Manage vendor setups, payroll integrations, contribution reconciliations, share purchases, and strict compliance with IRS Sec 423 and securities guidelines.

• 401(k) Governance & Compliance: Direct annual 401(k) compliance processes, including non-discrimination and top-heavy testing. Manage Form 5500 filings , facilitate year-end plan audits, and handle regulatory reporting requirements.

• Integrations & M&A Support: Evaluate retirement and ESPP impacts for newly acquired employee groups, establishing standard compliant processes across new entities.

• Operational Leadership: Deliver timely support for employee inquiries, handle service provider invoice reconciliations, and lead continuous process improvement and automation initiatives across benefits systems.
