Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Des Moines, Iowa.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist\n Discipline: Allied Health Professional\n Start Date: 09/21/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 40 hours per week\n Shift: 10 hours, days\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Days, 4x10hrs\n Hours: 40 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Sep 21, 2026\n Length: 13 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Cath Lab position requiring ARRT or RCIS certification and prior vascular/IR lab experience.Details\n \n Cath Lab-Interventional Vascular unit performing approximately 25 vascular procedures per day\n Patient population consists of vascular procedure cases\n Days schedule with 4x10-hour shifts starting at 7am, 40 hours per week\n Required call rotation of every 3rd evening and every 3rd weekend\n Required to float across campuses when needed\n Call team covers both facilities with most emergencies occurring at the Level I trauma facility\n Uses Epic EMR\n Requirements\n \n Active ARRT (R) certification required\n ARRT (CI or VI) highly preferred\n RCIS/CCI certification a plus\n BLS certification required\n Active Iowa Radiology license highly preferred, will consider candidates in the licensing process\n 12 months of vascular procedure experience in a hospital or medical center setting required\n Scrub, circulate, and monitor experience required\n Cardiac Cath Lab/CCL experience in a hospital or medical center setting required\n Current or prior experience supporting Operating Room procedures required\n Peripheral vascular experience required\n Level I trauma experience preferred\n Driver's license required for consideration\n Professional reference from a supervisor, charge nurse, manager, director, CNO, or COO within the past 24 months preferred\n Additional Information\n \n Responsibilities include scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring during interventional vascular procedures\n Candidates must complete a clinical phone interview as part of the screening process\n Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible\n Holiday coverage required for 1-2 of the 3 upcoming Summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) unless the unit is closed\n First-time travelers are welcome to apply\n Past UnityPoint Health employees (FTE or PRN float pool) are ineligible to work travel assignments in another market within 12 months of separation\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-744213.
