HVAC Project Manager

Role Description The HVAC Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Katy, TX, responsible for overseeing HVAC projects from estimating through completion. This role includes planning project scope and timelines, coordinating materials and equipment, and managing field teams and subcontractors to ensure work is completed on schedule and within budget. The HVAC Project Manager will monitor project progress, conduct site visits, and ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company quality expectations. Daily responsibilities also include communicating with clients, preparing project documentation and reports, resolving scheduling or logistics issues, and collaborating with internal departments to support efficient project delivery. Qualifications Demonstrated experience in Project Management, including estimating, planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating HVAC or construction projects. Proficiency in expediting and working as an expeditor to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and permits. Knowledge of Inspection processes, including quality checks, code compliance, and safety standards for HVAC and related trades. Skills in Logistics Management, including jobsite coordination, resource allocation, and workflow optimization. Prior experience in HVAC, mechanical contracting, or building services; familiarity with the electrical trade is a plus. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, with capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documents; proficiency with project management software is beneficial. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or a degree in construction management, engineering, or related field is preferred.
