Community Consultant (Leasing Agent) | Kinect at Lynnwood (Lynnwood, WA) About American Property Management Founded in Bellevue, Washington in 1987, American Property Management is a leading provider of multifamily community management. We currently oversee more than 5,500 units and are committed to excellence for our stakeholders. Schedule and On‑Site Requirements Tuesday – Friday: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm; Saturday: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Flexibility to work additional hours may be required. On‑site presence is required during scheduled hours. Candidates must be able to commute or plan relocation before starting work. Current residents of the property are not eligible. Property: Kinect at Lynnwood – 239‑unit mid‑rise apartment community built in 2021. Compensation Package Pay Range: $23 – $25 an hour (offers based on experience and location) Monthly leasing bonuses Competitive medical, dental, and vision benefits (employer pays 85% of premiums) 401(k) contribution with annual company match Paid sick leave: 1.33 hours per 30 hours worked (~11 days per year) Paid vacation: starts at two weeks, increases with tenure 11 paid holidays, including 2 personal holidays of choice What We Offer Competitive starting wages Commitment to diversity and inclusion Positive work environment where contributions are valued Team‑building activities and events Comprehensive training programs and development opportunities What We’re Looking For 2+ years of customer service experience (required) 1+ year in multifamily/student housing within the last 10 years (preferred) Knowledge of Fair Housing, Landlord/Tenant, and ADA laws (preferred) High school diploma or GED (required) Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong communication and teamwork abilities Positive outlook and collaborative approach Responsibility and pride in work Fluent in English (reading, speaking, writing) Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Your Role Show prospective tenants units and highlight property strengths Handle customer and tenant relations, ensuring timely resolution of issues Maintain knowledge of the local market Prepare and maintain reports for managers Host community events in compliance with company standards Assist residents from application through move‑in The responsibilities above are not all‑inclusive.
