Job Details Job Location: FLA-Sarasota Area Command - Sarasota, FL 34236 Position Type: Part Time with Benefits 20 or More Education Level: N/ASalary Range: $15.00 Hourly Travel Percentage: None Job Shift: Day Job Category: Property Schedule/Hours: Monday - Thursday, 9:00am to 3:00pm, 25 hours/week This position is responsible for: Cleans and maintains the buildings and grounds to ensure the neatness and cleanliness of the same on a daily basis. Key Responsibilities: Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of buildings and grounds through daily housekeeping and custodial duties. Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, offices, common areas, laundry areas, and other assigned spaces. Sweep, vacuum, mop, and wax floors; clean windows; and dust and polish furniture and fixtures. Perform laundry duties, including washing, folding, and storing shelter laundry and linens, and regularly empty and collect trash. Assist with meeting room setups, groundskeeping, opening and closing the building, and other related duties as needed. Physical Requirements and Conditions: Work is performed in a normal office environment with some exposure to outdoor temperatures, dirt and dust, and/or disagreeable sights and odors. Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and climbing. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN YOUEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: No formal education required, six months experience performing general custodian/janitorial duties, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
