Store Manager In Training (SMIT) We’re building a world of health around every individual and are seeking candidates for the Store Manager In Training (SMIT) role. This 16‑week development program prepares you for a future Store Manager position through a mix of self‑paced and hands‑on learning. Responsibilities Engage with your leader in Key Learning Experiences to support your path to promotion during the structured program. Support your store as a management team member and lead in a manner consistent with CVS values and policies. Provide excellent customer care duties to maintain high service levels. Execute merchandising strategies to support store sales growth. Manage store inventory and assets to maintain profitability. Engage colleagues in support of the company’s purpose of helping people on their path to better health. Accept promotion roles and market assignments as required. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. A four‑year college degree is preferred, or relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a college degree. Retail management experience or experience as a CVS Supervisor. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work a schedule that may vary based on business needs. Willingness to accept promotion to Store Manager role at any location in the designated market. Ability to transfer to other CVS Pharmacy stores within the designated market. Basic computer and technology proficiency. Working Conditions Anticipated weekly hours: 45. Full‑time, schedule may vary based on business needs. Compensation Typical pay range: $18.50 – $23.88 per hour; actual offer depends on experience, education, geography and other factors.
