- Provides primary care services to employees of a business and their dependents.
- Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' clinical problems and health care needs.
- Records physical findings, and formulates plan and prognosis, based on patients' condition. Provides written home-going instructions.
- Collaborates with Physicians and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plan as necessary.
- Prescribes or recommends medications or other forms of treatment.
- Refers patients to Physician for consultation or to specialized health resources for treatment.
- Maintains electronic medical records.
- Setting: Employer-based wellness center
- Job Type: Temporary
- Duration: Approx. 13 weeks
- Shift: Monday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM, Tuesday, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
- Pay Rate: $60.00-$68.00/hour
- At least 3 years of experience as a Physician Assistant in primary care or family medicine preferred
- DEA required
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
