Project Coordinator

Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator / Biologist to support the planning, coordination, and execution of activities on a five-year project to help restore freshwater mussels in remediated areas of the lower Grasse River (St. Lawrence County). This position is ideal for a biologist who enjoys a combination of field and laboratory work, project coordination, data management and analysis, and communication with project partners, scientists, and the public. The successful candidate will help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in accordance with project requirements. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and assist with planning and coordination of field work including data and sample collection and processing. Maintain budget records for grant expenditures, prepare detailed project reports, and coordinate field work travel needs (lodging, transport, etc.) for field crews. #J-18808-Ljbffr New York State Education Department/NYS Museum
