About the Position

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (06:30 - 17:00) Experience: 2 years of recent Cath Lab/interventional scrub experience License: Active state RN license (MD license or Compact license required) Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT-R, RCIS Must-Have: Cath Lab Tech or XRT with RCIS certification Recent/interventional scrub experience Description: This position involves working in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting. The candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of interventional procedures. The patient population will consist of adults and geriatrics. Procedures include IABP, Rotablator, Shockwave, structural interventions, PFO, TAVR, MitraClip, and Watchman. The candidate must be proficient with equipment such as GE Innova IGS, Phillips, and GE MacLab. Documentation will be handled through EPIC. On-call duties are required on weekdays and weekends. Holidays will also require on-call coverage as scheduled. Block scheduling cannot be accommodated. Special scheduling requests should be indicated upon application submission. Candidates must be comfortable floating within scope and have no restrictions or special requests. Extensions and returning candidates must adhere to specific policies. Compliance with required certifications will be enforced. The modules and onboarding procedures will be non-billable and factored into standard operations. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring and cardiac procedures. Accurate monitoring and scrub responsibilities for procedures are essential.
