Well established independent veterinary practice is seeking a new associate veterinarian in Dunnellon Florida. Full time is preferred but part time is possible. Experienced or new veterinarians are encouraged to apply. Our caseload is mostly small animal with exotics seen depending on the veterinarian's experience and preference. Compensation is competitive with straight salary or ProSal. No after hours emergencies. Dunnellon is a rapidly growing small town in North Central Florida adjacent to Ocala and near Gainesville and Crystal River so you have plenty of opportunities for outdoor and indoor activities including the close by Rainbow River. Associate veterinarian position. Responsibilities:- Includes medical and surgical care for patients.
- Wellness care - vaccines, parasite testing, prevention and control.
- Surgical procedures - sterilizations, dental cleaning/extractions, mass resections, wound repair, exploratories and some orthopedics.
- Medical diagnostics and treatments using digital radiography, in house and reference laboratories and in house pharmacy tailored to your preferences.
