Travel RN - Telemetry - Progressive Care Unit

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a PCU/MS-Tele Float position requiring a PA or compact RN license and at least 2 years of recent experience.

Job Details

• Float position primarily supporting MS/Tele and PCU units,
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM,
• Team nursing model with patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:8,
• Every other weekend required,
• No on-call responsibilities,
• Floats within scope to meet facility needs,
• No block scheduling available,

Job Requirements

• Active RN license (PA state or compact) required,
• BLS required; ACLS preferred,
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience required,
• Epic EMR experience required,
• MS/Tele and cardiac telemetry patient care experience required,
• NIHSS, TCAR, and TCRN certifications preferred,

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care across MS/Tele and PCU patient populations, including cardiac and neurological cases,
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered,
• Former Guthrie Healthcare System employees must be separated for at least one year before returning as a traveler,
• RTO requests of 5 days or less are preferred,

• Approximately 4 hours of non-billable onboarding modules required prior to start
