Role Overview The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using evidence-based practices and interdisciplinary collaboration. They perform comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, social, and psychological needs, develop individualized care plans with patient and family involvement, and coordinate care delivery by delegating tasks appropriately. RNs evaluate patient responses to interventions, adjust care plans as needed, and ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and regulatory standards. They demonstrate professionalism through accurate documentation, effective communication, and accountability. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments and gather information from team members. Develop personalized care plans collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Implement care by delegating and coordinating with interdisciplinary team members, managing resources, and prioritizing patient needs. Evaluate patient outcomes, satisfaction, and response to treatments, revising plans accordingly. Maintain professionalism through ethical practice, compliance, and proper documentation. Qualifications & Skills Current RN license in the practicing state; valid compact licenses transferred within 60 days if applicable. Basic Life Support Certification (BLS); BSN required within four years for those with less than 12 months of experience. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution. Skills in patient care, interdisciplinary collaboration, documentation, communication, critical thinking, and care coordination. Physical Requirements Ability to see, read, and operate monitors and equipment. Strong verbal communication and quick comprehension during emergencies. Manual dexterity for handling complex equipment and supplies. Capability to lift, transfer, and assist with patient mobility and transport.
