Registered Nurse Operating Room

$2176.00/week –

Job Summary:
Provide specialized perioperative nursing care in a large, high-volume surgical unit. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centered surgical experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Administer preoperative assessments and prepare patients for surgical procedures.
• Assist Surgeons and Surgical Techs during a variety of surgical cases, ensuring adherence to sterile protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to intraoperative changes promptly.
• Maintain accurate documentation of surgical procedures and patient status in the MEDITECH system.
• Support floating policies by assisting in other areas when operating rooms are closed.
• Promote a positive team environment and ensure adherence to hospital policies and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN licensure with a minimum of 2 years’ OR experience.
• Demonstrate expertise in orthopedic, general, urology (open & cysto), and minor vascular surgeries.
• Possess strong advanced OR skills, including familiarity with STRYKER systems, DIV Xi robots, and MAKO Navigation.
• Have current BLS certification; additional certifications are a plus.
• Exhibit punctuality, dedication, and excellent teamwork in fast-paced environments.
