Dental Hygienist (RDH) – Seymour, IN

We are a thriving dental practice in Seymour, Indiana, dedicated to patient care, and we are looking for a Dental Hygienist to become part of our skilled and supportive team. Our practice fosters a collaborative atmosphere and is committed to providing exceptional dental services while ensuring a positive, team-oriented environment. Currently, our office comprises 13 team members, including several providers and EFDA assistants who facilitate efficient patient care.

Schedule

Options for both full-time and part-time positions are available.

Full-time Hours:

Monday & Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Thursday: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Part-time:

Hours can be negotiated within the above schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out routine dental hygiene tasks and preventive care.
Perform patient evaluations and periodontal assessments.
Provide education to patients regarding oral hygiene and preventive care.
Assist with follow-up care and maintain communication with patients.
Utilize dental lasers in treatment when appropriate.
Ensure sterilization of instruments and adherence to infection control standards.
Support the treatment process and assist team members as necessary.
Maintain precise patient records using Dentrix software.
Foster a positive and collaborative team atmosphere.

Qualifications

Current Dental Hygienist license.
Excellent communication and patient education abilities.
Reliable and team-oriented attitude.
Dedication to providing outstanding patient care.
Open to candidates with varying levels of experience.
