Tech - Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary:
The Cath Lab Tech is responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab, ensuring high-quality patient care and safety. This role requires competence in all aspects of Cath Lab procedures, including structural interventions, within a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and assist in diagnostic and interventional cath lab procedures, including structural interventions.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout all procedures.
• Prepare and calibrate equipment, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Document procedural details accurately within the hospital's electronic health record system.
• Respond promptly to on-call emergencies, providing skilled care as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in cath lab technology, with proficiency in diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Active WV license or a pending license with eligibility to activate prior to start date.
• ARRT Registered and competent in all cath lab aspects, including structural procedures.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team.
• Excellent communication and clinical skills.
