Cloud Solution Architect

Base pay range $90.00/hr - $95.00/hr We are seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to lead enterprise cloud computing initiatives and provide architectural direction across IT and business teams. This role is responsible for designing, planning, and engineering scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructures and cloud‑native applications across leading public cloud platforms. The ideal candidate has deep experience in enterprise application architecture, cloud migrations, AI/ML solutions, and multi‑cloud environments , and is comfortable advising both technical and business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain cloud application architectures aligned with business objectives and technical requirements Architect scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure using best practices Implement and design cloud‑based hardware and software solutions Ensure cloud architecture supports SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS service models Assess current on‑premises and hybrid environments to identify migration candidates Develop and execute cloud migration strategies , including timelines, dependencies, and resource planning Lead migration execution, validation, and post‑migration optimization Ensure data integrity, performance, and system functionality throughout migration Security, Compliance & Governance Ensure cloud solutions comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements Implement security controls , encryption, identity and access management (IAM), and governance frameworks Support compliance with standards such as HIPAA, GDPR , and other applicable regulations Performance, Optimization & Reliability Monitor cloud system performance and proactively identify optimization opportunities Design solutions to improve performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency Analyze cloud usage and recommend cost‑optimization strategies Collaboration & Technical Leadership Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into cloud solutions Provide guidance and mentorship to IT teams on cloud technologies and best practices Establish reference architectures, runbooks, and operational documentation AI / Machine Learning & Innovation Guide technical and business leaders on AI, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Generative AI initiatives Map business use cases to AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure services Analyze cloud services to extract technical and business insights Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and industry trends to drive innovation Required Qualifications 10+ years of experience architecting enterprise application solutions across on‑premises and cloud environments 8+ years of experience architecting solutions on AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) 8+ years of experience designing cloud‑native application architectures Strong experience with IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS service models 8+ years of hands‑on experience delivering AI, ML, and Deep Learning solutions using AWS or Google technologies Preferred Qualifications Strong understanding of virtual networking , VPNs, DNS, load balancers, and firewalls Experience with cloud security frameworks , encryption, IAM, and compliance standards Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines , containerization ( Docker, Kubernetes ), and Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) Proficiency in Python, Java, C#, and scripting languages Experience with API design and integration (RESTful and SOAP) Knowledge of microservices, serverless architectures, and cloud‑native development Experience optimizing cloud cost, performance, and reliability Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical solutions to non‑technical audiences Experience working with cross‑functional teams and senior leadership Hands‑on experience with: AWS services: Bedrock, SageMaker, Redshift, EC2, Kinesis, EMR Google Cloud services: Vertex AI, Agent Builder, AI services (e.g., Transcribe equivalents) AWS Certified Solutions Architect Azure Solutions Architect Expert Google Professional Cloud Architect Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Contract Job function Information Technology Industries Government Administration, Health and Human Services, and Hospitals and Health Care Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at LanceSoft, Inc. by 2x.
