Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Research & Transaction Coordinator to work directly with our partners and acquisitions team.

The position combines commercial real estate research, database management, and transaction coordination. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys research, has exceptional organizational skills, and can independently manage multiple projects and deadlines.

This is primarily a research and coordination position, not a sales or acquisitions prospecting role.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Real Estate Research & Database Management

• Research industrial properties, ownership information, and market activity using CoStar, Reonomy, public records, and other resources.
• Maintain and organize our proprietary database of over 5,000 commercial properties.
• Research and track comparable sales, lease transactions, property listings, and market trends.
• Monitor changes in ownership, property availability, asking prices, and leasing activity.
• Consolidate and organize existing property notes, contacts, and historical research.
• Assist the acquisitions team with ad hoc research requests.

Transaction & Due Diligence Coordination

• Coordinate the administrative aspects of commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions from executed contract through closing.
• Track contractual deadlines, due diligence periods, and closing requirements.
• Coordinate with attorneys, title companies, lenders, inspectors, surveyors, and other third-party professionals.
• Organize due diligence materials, reports, contracts, and transaction documents.
• Manage document requests from prospective buyers during property dispositions.
• Maintain transaction checklists and provide regular status updates to the partners.
• Follow up on outstanding documents and deliverables to ensure transactions remain on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field.
• Prior commercial real estate experience preferred, particularly in transaction coordination, brokerage support, acquisitions, or research.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Workspace.
• Experience with CoStar, Reonomy, or similar CRE platforms is a plus.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize deadlines, and work independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable conducting detailed internet research and working with large amounts of information.
• Proactive, resourceful, and willing to take ownership of assigned responsibilities.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive base salary of $50,000–$70,000, depending on experience.
