JOB PURPOSE To support the Lab’s research into dynamic transcriptional states by assisting in the investigation of oscillatory gene expression in human naive and memory T cells. The role involves a combination of computational analysis and laboratory support to characterize gene regulation using the Easy Share-seq sequencing protocol. SUPERVISORY AUTHORITY This position does not have supervisory authority over other employees. NATURE AND SCOPE The Research Assistant will work under the direct supervision of the Principal Investigator within our Lab. The scope of the work includes processing RNA‑seq datasets and collaborating with lab members to model complex gene regulation in single‑cell multi‑omic data. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Assisting with the implementation of the Easy Share‑seq sequencing protocol. Conducting computational analysis of published and internal transcriptomics datasets. Organizing and maintaining laboratory records and data repositories. Participating in weekly lab meetings to report findings on T cell gene oscillation. CORE COMPETENCIES Familiar with basic biology experimental techniques Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a laboratory setting.
