Other duties may be assigned.Distillation or reactor experience, both vacuum & atmosphericGeneral distillation process physics understanding vacuum, open/closed systems, forward and reflux distillation, system parts and functionUnderstanding basic separation, solvent recovery conceptsAbility to correctly identify and pour raw materials in designated vessel utilizing scalesAbility to set up and use pumps, filters, scales and other equipment as well as control heat/vacuumAbility to pack products into the correct containers and label as requiredFlavor / Food Industry experience a plusAbility to read and interpret Sage ERP system's batch sheets, track batches in Sage ERP system, submit sample to Quality and print stock labelsAble to perform basic math and convert units of measureDiligent in batch-record & log keeping with sufficient detailsAbility to operate all on-site forkliftsAbility to read and produce batches when given disposition from QualityWork in accordance with all relevant requirements including, but not limited to GMP, SQF, HACCP, FDA, USDA and internal safety guidelinesCompliance with the systems/programs of Flavor Producer's Quality, Safety and Food Safety programsOther tasks as assignedQualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
