QA Technology Analyst Intern - Helipass

Position OverviewThe QA Analyst Intern supports the software quality assurance process by assisting with manual testing, documentation, and defect validation. This role is designed for students or early‑career candidates who want hands‑on experience in software testing while learning industry best practices.Essential Duties and AccountabilitiesExecute manual test cases under guidance from senior QA or engineering staffAssist in validating new features, bug fixes, and integrationsIdentify, document, and retest software defects with clear reproduction stepsHelp maintain test documentation, including checklists and test casesParticipate in UAT and regression testing activitiesValidate basic data accuracy through UI checks or simple queriesLearn and follow established QA processes and standardsCollaborate with developers and analysts during testing cyclesQualification RequirementsCurrently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related fieldBasic understanding of software development conceptsStrong attention to detail and logical problem‑solving skillsClear written and verbal communicationAbility to follow instructions and ask questions when unclearCoursework or exposure to software testing or QA concepts is a PLUSFamiliarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps) is a PLUSBasic understanding of web applications or APIs is a PLUSIntroductory knowledge of SQL or data concepts is a PLUSExperience with Agile or Kanban environments (academic or internship) is a PLUSOrganizational Core ValuesSafe – We are absolute in our belief in the tenets of Destination Zero and that Zero is not only achievable, but the only acceptable outcome.Efficient – We are focused on outcomes that are smart and responsible by making the best use of our resources to maximize overall productivity as a high-performing organization.Quality – We are committed to ensuring excellent organizational performance, which produces sustainable and reliable outcomes.Service – We are dedicated to the service of our customers, our communities and each other.Behavioral CompetenciesDrive & Energy - Effective performers have a high level of energy and the motivation to sustain it over time.
