Phlebotomy TechnicianPay Range: $22.00hr - $27.20hrRequirement/Must Have:Ability to provide quality, error free work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.High school diploma or equivalent.Medical training such as medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.Phlebotomy certification required.Keyboard and data entry experience is required.Responsibilities:Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.Explain procedures to patients and draw blood specimens in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner.Maintain a safe and professional environment.Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.Maintain required records and documentation.Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients and the public.Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.Nice to Have:One+ years of phlebotomy experience preferred.Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.Skills:Phlebotomy.Pediatric Phlebotomy.Geriatric Phlebotomy.Specimen Processing.Data Entry.Qualification And Education:High school diploma or equivalent.California Phlebotomy Certification.
