Salary: $40 - $55 per hour Responsibilities Developing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs. Collaborating with healthcare professionals, parents, and other educators to ensure the educational needs of the students are met. Providing case management services for assigned students, including coordinating with other service providers, tracking progress, and advocating for student needs. Conducting assessments to determine student needs and progress. Providing consultation and support to other teachers and staff regarding special education strategies and interventions. Participating in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in special education and healthcare. Qualifications A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Special Education Teacher. Active CO Sped General Endorsement or must have already applied. Proven experience as a case manager and writing IEPs. A deep understanding of special education laws and practices. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals.
