Quick Facts: Location: Kokomo, IN 46902 Start Date: Immediate or upon agreement Duration: Ongoing, based on contract terms Shift: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Hours/Week: 40 hours Employment Type: Contract / Full-Time Licenses/Certifications: Valid Indiana state license or certification preferred (if applicable) Experience: Previous experience in child welfare or social services preferred, but not required Pay & Benefits: Hourly Rate: $30.25/hour Overtime Rate: $45.37/hour Benefits package discussed upon application Reimbursement for Mileage and Travel within Indiana Supportive work environment with equipment provided What You ll Do: Conduct in-home safety and risk assessments for children and families Support open cases with two monthly in-home visits Develop, implement, and monitor safety and service plans Document case management activities thoroughly Prepare and present court reports with professional recommendations Collaborate with law enforcement, legal, and community partners Keep detailed records to ensure compliance and safety What You Need: Required: Bachelor s degree in Social Work, Family Studies, Psychology, or related field Ability to work independently and remotely when needed Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills Reliable transportation and valid driver s license Ability to pass background checks and drug screening Preferred: Previous experience with child investigation or child welfare agencies Indiana state licensure or certification in social work or related field About the Assignment: This role involves supporting children and families in the Kokomo community by conducting safety assessments, developing safety and service plans, and documenting all activities for court and agency review.
