H&M Sales Advisor - Macomb Mall

Job Overview As a Sales Advisor, you'll be responsible for providing excellent customer service, welcoming and guiding customers through your store to actively sell our products and provide customers with support and guidance. You will use your fashion and product knowledge to give customers the relevant information they need for the best experience. You will also work on garment refill and care, presentation, and contribute to a clean and tidy sales floor and back of house, working closely with the rest of your store team to deliver an excellent customer experience. A Day in the Life Working at H&M means no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will include the following responsibilities: Provide excellent customer service: welcoming and guiding customers through the store and the Omni experience where available, supporting them with direct customer service Engage with customers to provide excellent service Guide customers through fashion trends, stories and products in all areas of the store Effectively promote and sell our products Actively promote our Customer Loyalty App (Hello Member) and in-store sustainability initiatives Represent the H&M brand positively during all customer interactions Support with commercial or operational actions to reach sales targets with store management General Information Fashion & Trend Awareness: Keep up-to-date with fashion trends, styles, brands, products, competitors, and relevant influencers; use product and fashion knowledge to share relevant information with customers Team & Development Retain and share service, fashion and store operations knowledge with colleagues Follow all procedures, routines, and legal requirements in all areas of the store Give and receive feedback with colleagues to learn, develop and support each other Participate in onboarding, introductory processes and trainings relevant for the role and future development Retail Operations / Visual & Commercial Execution Complete full garment cycle from unpacking and refill to steaming and ensure good garment care Operate fitting room and checkout areas according to best practice and processes Contribute to a clean and tidy sales floor and back of house (including stockrooms) Support garment presentation, execution and maintain attractive merchandise displays, clear trends and stories according to visual and commercial guidelines Ensure good stock levels with replenishment routines on the sales floor Maintain in-store omni services and tech services/tools (Instore Care App, Click & Collect, Smart Store, etc.) Support opening and closing of the store Follow all health and safety guidelines and legal requirements applicable to the role Qualifications As a Sales Advisor, you'll be passionate about fashion and everything we create in-store Motivated by giving customers a great experience Strong communication, creativity, curiosity, motivation, flexibility, decisiveness and action-orientation Enjoy working in a collaborative and dynamic environment Sales experience in a dynamic, collaborative environment applicable to the role Experience in customer service in fashion, retail or other service-related industries Why You’ll Love Working at H&M Diverse backgrounds are valued Values-driven organization guided by seven values Access to Colleague Resource Groups (CRGs) for community and networking Inclusive workplace where you can be yourself Access to a global talent community with opportunities for growth Comprehensive benefits including health insurance, wellness and family support programs, retirement plan, paid leave, and paid time off Employee discount at H&M, Other Stories, COS, and more Additional Information Job Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt EEOC Code: SLS Compensation: Sales Associates Pay Rate $14.50 per hour *This job posting highlights the most critical responsibilities and requirements of the job and is not all-inclusive.
