Position Details Job Title: Data Architect Analyst Position Number: 8100402 Work Modality: Hybrid – 3 In‑Person Job Category: University Staff Job Type: Full‑Time Department: Technology Services Location: Rogers Park‑Lake Shore Campus, Chicago, IL Responsibilities Analyze user requirements and current operational procedures to improve Business Intelligence and Reporting applications and interfaces. Interact with clients to assist with the installation, configuration, training, operation, customization, and troubleshooting of Business Intelligence and Reporting tools. Apply knowledge of ETL, Data Warehouse, and Business Intelligence tools and architectures to support development of client reports, dashboards, and interfaces. Install, configure, upgrade, and tune Business Intelligence and ETL software to ensure optimal functionality. Create adequate documentation of interfaces, reports, and applications. Demonstrate commitment to Loyola’s mission and vision, supporting ITS core values of service excellence and continuous improvement. Proactively manage change through existing change‑management processes. Perform related duties as required or assigned. Required Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field and 3–5 years of related work experience. Technical Skills Strong knowledge of relational database concepts and tools, with 1–2+ years of SQL development experience. Familiarity with data warehouse concepts and design. Experience with Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence and Reporting tools such as SSRS, SSAS, WebFocus, and Power BI. Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS. Salary Annual salary range: $95,000 – $105,252.
