Position Summary

The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for supporting daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliations. This position offers great growth potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Prepare and review invoices, expense reports, and payment requests.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and balance sheet accounts.
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and vendor/customer inquiries.
• Prepare financial reports and account analyses as requested.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
• Assist with process improvements and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Associate's or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or related experience.
• Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Pivot tables and vlookups preferred.
• Ability to perform data entry accurately at a high speed (10 key typing) while maintaining focus on precision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
