Junior IT Support Specialist (Helpdesk) - Miami (BBBH12180) Miami Beach, Florida Junior Desktop Support Contractor Location: Miami, FL (Onsite) Contract Length: 12 Months Environment: Microsoft-Focused About the Role Our client is seeking a Junior Desktop Support Contractor to provide onsite technical support within a Microsoft-based environment. This is a 12-month contract opportunity that is ideal for someone early in their IT career who possesses strong troubleshooting abilities and excellent customer service skills. The role is fully onsite in Miami, Florida. The successful candidate will work closely with end users to resolve issues related to Microsoft Teams, desktop support, and audio-visual (AV) technology. Key Responsibilities Provide frontline support for Microsoft Teams, including connectivity issues, call quality concerns, and collaboration features. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues across desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices. Support the setup, configuration, and maintenance of audio-visual equipment for meetings and events. Perform basic Microsoft 365 administration, including password resets and permissions management. Document issues and resolutions while escalating more complex incidents when required. Respond promptly to service requests and support tickets. Maintain accurate records of IT hardware and software assets. Qualifications 1 to 2 years of IT support experience, preferably in a Microsoft environment. Experience supporting Microsoft Teams, Office 365, and Windows 10/11. Basic understanding of networking concepts, including Wi-Fi, VPNs, and general connectivity troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with audio-visual equipment setup and support. Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work onsite and provide in-person support to end users. Nice to Have Experience working with ServiceNow or a similar ticketing platform. Exposure to Active Directory administration. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA), Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, or similar certifications are considered an asset. Contract Details Contract Length: 12 months, with the possibility of extension. Location: Fully onsite in Miami, Florida.
