Senior SAP Application Consultant, TM/Sales

Job Description

As a Senior SAP Application Consultant, Sales (TM) you will be expected to leverage your business process, industry expertise, and SAP solution knowledge to lead clients on their SAP SD and Transportation Management implementation journey, ensuring alignment of SAP solution and industry driven best business practices. SAP knowledge is required to support the primary objective of applying SAP technology to meet existing and/or optimized client business processes.

Applicants can be located in any U.S. city and must be willing to travel up to 100% based on client and project needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

\n

Client Engagement/Consulting

\n

\n
• Build strong relationships with clients to understand their business processes, objectives and challenges
\n
• Schedule, prepare and lead workshops to demonstrate SAP best practices and identify business requirements
\n
• Act as trusted advisor in both SAP and business best practices in your area of responsibility
\n
• Analyze existing business processes and identify areas for improvement and optimization in order to design future-state business processes aligned with SAP best practices
\n
• Identify and present solution options to support client decision making process
\n
• Collaborate cross functionally with consultants and stakeholders on business requirements needing seamless integration
\n
• Ensure that SAP configuration aligns with defined business processes
\n
• Effectively manage tasks assigned to offshore counterparts and junior consultants to ensure on time deliverables
\n
• Ensure appropriate testing of configuration and development is complete and documented prior to handover to client
\n
• Lead activities in all phases of the SAP Activate Methodology
\n
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
\n
• Monitor progress in your area and support risk identification / mitigation plans
\n

Internal/Company-Facing

\n

\n
• Provide advisory services in both SAP and business best practices in your area of responsibility
\n
• Act as a mentor to both Junior and Associate level consultants within the organization
\n
• Take an active role in your own career development in the form of continuous education as well as annual goals and objectives
\n
• Support presales activities as needed, and the project team during Discovery phase to establish the project scope of work
\n

Position Requirements/Qualifications:

\n

This position requires a combination of manufacturing expertise. Qualified applicants will possess expertise in SD, TM (Transportation Management) with additional expertise in OTC and other sales modules.

\n

• 5+ years SAP SD project implementation with TM (Transportation Management), OTC and other sales modules
\n
• 2+ years leadership experience on SAP SD & TM implementation projects or production support
\n
• 2+ years integration experience with other process areas
\n
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent experience
\n
• Proven experience as a Business Process Consultant or similar role with a focus on SAP projects
\n
• Strong knowledge of SAP solutions and modules (e.g., SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA)
\n
• Proficiency in industry or business process modeling and documentation
\n
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
\n
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
\n

The annual base compensation range for this role will be $126,696 - $191,271. The exact compensation at which this job is filled will be determined by a number of factors including but not limited to organizational needs and the qualified candidate’s skill set, certifications, and experience.
