Weekly Pay $24-25/hr

Job Description

The shipper and receiver is responsible for handling all finished goods entering and leaving the facility, ensuring products are accurately received, properly stored, and shipped out correctly and on time. This role involves frequent use of forklifts and pallet jacks, regular inventory checks using computer systems, and careful packaging and labeling of products in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive all finished goods that arrive at the facility and verify quantities and product details against documentation.

• Ensure all outgoing shipments are prepared accurately, packaged securely, labeled correctly, and shipped according to schedule.

• Perform regular inventory checks to confirm stock levels are accurate and up to date.

• Use a computer to check, update, and track inventory levels in the system.

• Operate forklifts, including bendi and Drexell forklifts, to move products safely throughout the warehouse.

• Use pallet jacks to transport materials and finished goods within the facility.

• Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment according to established procedures.

• Handle general material handling tasks, including loading, unloading, and organizing products in storage locations.

• Walk throughout the warehouse frequently to locate, move, and store products.

• Lift boxes weighing between 1 and 35 pounds throughout the day and place them in designated storage areas.

• Carry boxes up an industrial ladder when needed to store items in higher warehouse locations.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with warehouse and manufacturing standards.

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while meeting accuracy and productivity expectations.

Essential Skills

• At least 2 years of forklift experience, specifically with bendi or Drexell forklifts, cherry picker, or Narrow Isle

• Proficiency operating forklifts and pallet jacks safely in a warehouse setting.

• Ability to perform inventory checks and manage stock accurately.

• Computer skills sufficient to check and update inventory levels.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.

• Ability to perform material handling tasks, including picking, packing, and labeling products.

• Capability to lift boxes weighing 1 to 35 pounds throughout the day and carry them up an industrial ladder when required.

• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
