Cardiac Sonographer Echocardiography
Schedule: Weekend coverage: Every other weekend
Assignment Details: Minimum assignment requirements: Travel experience required; locals accepted at the same rate.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year relevant experience
- Certifications: BLS; recommended/accepted credentialing includes ARDMS, RDCS, or CCI (RCS)
- Experience with adult echocardiography (2D/3D), Doppler, contrast/bubble study, transthoracic and transesophageal (TEE) imaging, stress echo (treadmill and pharmacologic), and advanced measurements such as LV strain, diastology, PISA, and Simpson's rule
- Familiarity with charting system: Epic required
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform echocardiography procedures including transthoracic and transesophageal imaging
- Execute stress echo tests using both treadmill and pharmacologic methods
- Utilize Doppler and advanced measurement techniques in echocardiography
- Document findings accurately in the electronic medical record system
Compliance / Notes:
- Full compliance required to start; incomplete compliance may delay start
- All compliance documents due the Tuesday prior to start
- RTO and holiday rules enforced per submission policy
