Early Access: Your benefits start on the first day of employment.Execute floor and shipping activities related to a warehousing operation in Houston which supports industrial operations and activities by stocking strategic spare parts and operating consumables.Job ResponsibilitiesSafety:Promote a safe work environment and instill a strong safety culture.Work to achieve zero accidents, lost time incidents or recordable incidents by taking a leadership role in safety.Physically Receive Incoming Material Shipments:Unload shipments.Inspect shipments for apparent damage and make notes on bill of lading accordingly.Inspect shipments for content accuracy and make notes on packing list accordingly.Place rejected shipments in designated quarantine area.Ensure incoming materials are properly and accurately labeled.Review calibration certificates (as applicable) for compliance and attach certificates to specific incoming materials.Stock accepted shipments in warehouse.Electronically Receive Incoming Material Shipments:Fill Work Orders (Maximo Inventory Reservation Requests):Receive work order from National Warehouse Customer Service Representative or Administrator.Review and understand work order.Pick materials specified on work order from warehouse and stage in shipping area.Mark work order accordingly for picked or back ordered materials.Load outgoing material shipments.Generate shipping labels.Package materials for shipment.Other Warehouse Activities:Maintain overall physical organization and cleanliness of warehouse.Manage material quarantine area and process.Assist in cycle counts and annual physical inventory of warehouses.
