Caregiver Position in San Marcos, TX

We are looking for the best caregivers in San Marcos, TX, willing to work in a healthy and happy environment, with competitive pay and to start working as soon as possible.

Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9am to 5pm

Base pay: $15 an hour

Tasks: Bathing, dressing, grooming

A sitter/companion must have a strong work ethic and a can-do attitude!

Sitter/Companion essential functions:

• Provide personal assistance and/or health-related services to patients/clients in their place of residence.
• Provide a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.
• Work cooperatively with the patient/client and family.
• Report observations and problems to the supervisor.

Sitter/companion duties:

• Provide companionship to client.
• Provide preparation of meals.
• Light housekeeping.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming.
• Provide transportation. (Valid DL required)
• Promote positive, supportive, respectful communication to patient/family and other employees.
• Provide an environment which promotes respect for patient, privacy, and property.
• Demonstrate effective time management skills.
• Report unsafe conditions and problems to agency management.
• Demonstrate commitment, professional growth, and competency through attending required in-services.
• Promote the Right at Home philosophy and administrative policies to ensure quality of care.
