The Clinician provides psychotherapy to patients across all ages in individual and group settings, utilizing tailored techniques and interventions.
They conduct initial mental health evaluations, develop personalized treatment plans with specific goals, and coordinate care with patients, families, caregivers, and other providers.
Responsibilities include performing assessments, facilitating transitions between care levels, obtaining service authorizations when needed, and ensuring timely, accurate clinical documentation in compliance with legal and payor requirements.
Key qualifications include a Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field, and licensure as an LCSW , LCPC , or LMFT through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
Essential skills encompass strong communication, effective collaboration, goal clarification, professionalism, and confidentiality adherence under HIPAA and state regulations.
