Job Requirements

• Board certified or board eligible in Surgery
• At least 1 year of general surgery experience
• Active Pennsylvania medical license or eligibility to practice in Pennsylvania
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS required
• Comfort working in a high-acuity, collaborative hospital environment
• Ability to manage clinic, OR, rounding, and call responsibilities
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach

Responsibilities

• Provide general surgery coverage in clinic and the operating room
• Participate in scheduled OR days and TAVR day coverage
• Manage approximately one clinic day per week with an estimated 15 patients daily
• Perform daily rounding and coordinate care with advanced practice provider support
• Cover weekday and weekend call as scheduled, with APP support available
• Deliver high-quality surgical care in a busy trauma-capable setting
• Collaborate closely with the care team to support smooth patient flow and continuity of care
